Majestic plans and where the API sits
Figures come from the Majestic plans and pricing page, checked in November 2026. Prices exclude VAT, so confirm the current figure on majestic.com before you budget.
| Plan | Monthly price | Annual price per month | API access | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | 46.99 EUR | 39.16 EUR | No | 1 |
| Pro | 94.99 EUR | 79.16 EUR | No | 1 |
| Full API | 379.99 EUR | 316.66 EUR | Yes | 5 |
The Full API plan includes 100 million analysis units a month, with 300 million and 1,000 million tiers above it. Lite and Pro carry 1 million and 20 million units, and their data is used in the web tools. Majestic describes the Full API plan as built for agencies who need maximum power and for developers who want to pull data directly.
What the Full API plan buys you
Majestic is a link index. Its strength is backlink data, with Trust Flow and Citation Flow as the metrics people know it for. The API gives you that index inside your own code. It does not give you keyword research, daily position tracking or a technical audit, so a client dashboard that shows more than links needs a second data source. That second source is a second invoice and a second integration to maintain.
What 10, 20 and 50 client dashboards cost on Majestic
Because the API starts at one plan, the monthly cost does not climb with the client count until you run out of analysis units. It is flat but high.
| Clients | Plan needed | Monthly cost (annual billing) | Monthly cost (month to month) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | Full API | 316.66 EUR | 379.99 EUR |
| 20 | Full API | 316.66 EUR | 379.99 EUR |
| 50 | Full API, check units | 316.66 EUR or higher tier | 379.99 EUR or higher tier |
That is a fair price if you will fill the plan with link data across many clients. For 10 dashboards it means paying for capacity you do not use, and you still build the interface, logins and PDFs yourself.
When Majestic is the right choice
Choose it when:
- link analysis is your core service and Trust Flow is the metric your clients ask for,
- you have developers who will build the interface,
- you will use a large share of the analysis units every month,
- you want a dedicated link index next to another tool for keywords.
In those cases the Full API plan is a specialist tool priced like one.
When a flat plan costs less than the Majestic API
A flat plan wins when the people using the data are account managers, not engineers, and when clients want more than links. SeoData Agency covers backlinks, keywords, positions and audits with 10 seats, white-label PDF reports and 100 000 API rows. That is 149 USD per month on yearly billing against 316.66 EUR for the Majestic Full API on annual billing, before any interface work. The SEO API page lists the endpoints, and the best SEO API for agencies comparison puts the main vendors side by side. Pricing pages for other vendors are broken down in SE Ranking API pricing and Moz API pricing.
Agencies that win bigger retainers usually start with a proper intake conversation, and a tool such as consultations.ai can run the first discovery call with a prospect so your team joins once the lead is qualified.
How to price your own workload before choosing
- List clients and what each dashboard must show. If it is only links, a link index fits. If it includes keywords and positions, count the second tool.
- Estimate analysis units from one real client with a test pull.
- Add build time for dashboards, logins and PDFs, plus upkeep.
- Compare the total with a flat plan. All plan prices are on SeoData pricing.
Do this with three real clients, not an average one.
