Terms of Service

The service is provided by the administrator of the seodata.ai service. You can contact us at [email protected]. In these terms, we, us and our refer to the administrator, and you refers to the person or organization using the service.

SeoData is an online SEO data platform delivered as a subscription. It provides domain overviews, estimated organic traffic, backlink data, keyword research, keyword gap reports, technical site audits, position tracking, AI generated action plans, scheduled reports and, on some plans, an API. The features and monthly limits of each plan are described on the pricing page.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password confidential and for all activity in your account. Each seat is for one named person. Sharing a single seat between several people is not allowed. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

• Every plan is a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance. There are no one-time purchases and no credits.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel it.
• Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes are added where the law requires.
• Monthly limits reset at the start of each monthly cycle. Unused limits do not carry over. Deleting projects, reports or tracked keywords does not restore used limits for the current cycle.
• When you move to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing, the price difference for the current period is charged immediately and the new plan starts once that payment succeeds.
• When you move to a lower plan, the change applies from the next billing period and no refund is issued for the current one.
• You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, our payment provider retries it. The amount for the period that has started remains due.
• Payments are final, except in the cases described in our refund policy.

The only thing you can use without paying is the one-time domain snapshot on the home page, which is limited per visitor and per IP address. It is a preview, not a plan.

You may use the service and the data it provides for your own SEO work and for work you do for your clients. You may not do any of the following.

• Resell, sublicense, redistribute or publish raw data from the service, in bulk or as a dataset, or use it to build a competing product or database.
• Access the service through automated means other than the official API, including scraping the application, or attempt to bypass monthly limits, IP limits or seat limits.
• Create several accounts or snapshots to avoid limits or payment.
• Use the service to violate the law, infringe the rights of others or harass anyone.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts or our systems, or interfere with the operation of the service.
• Upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to use.

Reports you create, including white-label reports, may be shared with your clients. Sharing reports is not reselling raw data.

API access is included only on plans that list it. API usage counts against the monthly row limit of your plan. API keys are confidential and tied to your account. You are responsible for all requests made with your keys. We may apply rate limits to protect the service. Data retrieved through the API is subject to the same acceptable use rules as data in the application. Caching API results for your own internal use is allowed. Exposing them to third parties as a data feed is not.

Data in SeoData comes from licensed data partners and from our own crawler. Our crawler identifies itself, respects robots.txt and limits its request rate. When you run a site audit, you confirm that you own the site or are authorized to audit it.

Traffic, visibility, keyword volume, difficulty, authority scores and similar metrics are estimates based on models and partial views of the web. They are not measurements taken from the analyzed site's own analytics and may differ from actual figures. Rankings are recorded at a point in time and can vary by location, device and personalization. AI action plans are recommendations generated by an AI model. You decide which of them to apply and remain responsible for changes you make to your sites. How we build our data is explained on the data and methodology page.

You keep all rights to the domains, keywords, notes, logos and other content you add to the service. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content only to provide the service to you. We do not publish your projects or share them with other customers.

The service, its software, design, data compilations and brand belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the paid period under these terms. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the service or the data to you.

We work to keep the service available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation on any plan. We may carry out maintenance and may improve, change or replace features. If a change removes a core feature of your plan, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used for fraud or abuse, or for which a chargeback is raised without first contacting us. Where possible, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. You may close your account at any time in the account settings.

The service and its data are provided as they are and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the data is complete, accurate or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic or business result.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the statutory rights of consumers.

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims from third parties arising from your breach of these terms or from your unlawful use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which the administrator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of that state. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts there.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we notify account holders by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
