SEO audit tools that tell you what to fix first

A technical audit is only useful when it ends in a short list of fixes. SeoData crawls your site, groups every issue by category, ranks it by impact and re-crawls on a schedule, so new problems surface before they cost you traffic.

A site audit tool built around priorities

Every crawl ends with a health score, a list of issues and the pages each issue affects. Issues are sorted into three levels.

PriorityWhat it means
ErrorsProblems that block crawling or indexing, fix them first
WarningsProblems that weaken rankings or user experience
NoticesImprovements worth planning

Issue categories

  • Crawlability. Status codes, redirect chains and loops, broken internal links, robots.txt rules, orphan pages.
  • Indexability. Noindex tags, canonical conflicts, X-Robots-Tag headers, pages missing from the sitemap and sitemap entries that do not resolve.
  • On-page. Missing or duplicate titles and meta descriptions, length issues, missing H1, duplicate content, thin pages.
  • Performance. Time to first byte, heavy pages, uncompressed resources, render-blocking files.
  • Links. Broken outbound links, nofollow use, internal link depth.
  • International and markup. Hreflang errors, structured data found and invalid, Open Graph tags.
  • Security. HTTPS coverage, mixed content, certificate problems.

How the crawl works

SeoData crawls with our own crawler, which respects robots.txt and crawl-delay rules. You set the start URL, the page limit, the crawl speed and the user agent, and you can include or exclude folders.

  1. Create a project and enter your domain.

  2. Choose the scope and the schedule.

  3. SeoData crawls the site and groups issues by category and priority.

  4. Open an issue to see every affected URL and a plain explanation of how to fix it.

  5. Assign fixes, export the list or send it to a report.

Scheduled re-crawls and regressions

Schedule the audit daily, weekly or monthly. After every crawl SeoData compares the result with the previous one and highlights regressions: issues that are new, pages that broke and fixes that came undone after a release. You see a timeline of the health score and can tie each drop to a date.

Who runs technical audits with SeoData

  • In-house SEO leads who check every release for new crawl and indexing problems.
  • Developers who need a precise list of URLs and the exact issue, not a generic score.
  • Agencies auditing new clients and monitoring existing ones on a schedule.
  • Consultants preparing a migration plan and checking the site after launch.

Reading an audit report

Ignore the temptation to fix every notice. Start with errors on pages that bring traffic, then warnings that affect many pages at once, such as a template with a missing H1. One template fix often clears hundreds of rows. Re-crawl after the fix to confirm it. The AI SEO recommendations combine audit issues with traffic and links and rank the fixes by expected impact. Site audit questions

Does the crawler respect robots.txt?

Yes. Our crawler follows robots.txt and crawl-delay rules. You can also lower the crawl speed to protect a busy server.

Can I audit a staging site?

Yes, if it is reachable from the internet. You can set a custom user agent and include or exclude folders.

How are audit pages counted?

Every page the crawler fetches counts as one audit page. Re-crawls count again, so set the scope and schedule to match your plan.

Can I export the issues?

Yes. Issues and affected URLs export to CSV and Excel, and audits can be added to scheduled PDF reports on Pro, Agency and Enterprise plans.
